This series documents civilisation, albeit in the absence of their presence. Richard Long's 1967 work, 'A Line Made By Walking' is a certain inspiration, as is our instinct to forge convenient shortcuts or venture into the unknown. I am also impartial to a simple territorial skid. From desire paths to driveways, these are the marks of humanity.
